For this recipe we will be making a traditional breakfast sandwich with a unique twist. The ingredients list is:

HOW TO MAKE BREAKFAST SANDWICH

Heat a nonstick skillet to medium heat and add 1tsp of butter or butter substitute and let melt. While the pan is heating, crack eggs plus egg whites in a bowl and whisk together. Set aside. 

In the nonstick skillet, toast the inside of the buns, once toasted layer with thin sliced Swiss cheese. Add an additional 1 tsp of butter to the pan and then add your eggs. Slowly stir eggs until they are scrambled and cooked through and season with salt & pepper to taste. Place the eggs onto the inside of the bun. 

Lastly, pan fry the turkey bacon until crispy on both sides. Layer on top of the eggs.

Drizzle with the agave & chipotle sauce and top with remaining pretzel bun top.

  • 2 Pretzel Buns
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 4 Egg whites
  • 2 slices Turkey bacon
  • 1 tbsp Chives
  • Agave & Chipotle Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat a nonstick skillet to medium heat and add 1tsp of butter or butter substitute and let melt.
  • While the pan is heating, crack eggs plus egg whites and chives in a bowl and whisk together. Set aside. 
  • In the nonstick skillet, toast the inside of the buns, once toasted layer with thin sliced Swiss cheese.

  • Place the eggs onto the inside of the bun. 
  • Pan fry the turkey bacon until crispy on both sides and layer on top of the eggs.

    OMG, I love breakfast (fave meal of the day) and this sandwich was sooo good. I took your advice and added smoked salmon and with the chipotle sauce, it was downright delish. Will make again!
