This Starbucks turkey bacon sandwich is one of the most popular items on the Starbucks breakfast menu because it’s a good option for a quick, balanced breakfast. Made with egg whites, turkey bacon, and whole wheat bread, it’s lighter than many traditional breakfast sandwiches but still satisfying.

It’s a great choice for busy mornings, meal prep, or anyone looking for a delicious breakfast sandwich that fits into a balanced daily diet.

Nutritional Value & Why It’s a Good Option

One of the reasons this sandwich is such a favorite breakfast is because it’s a balanced option that fits into a variety of nutrition goals. With a good amount of protein per serving and lower fat compared to regular bacon sandwiches, it’s a great choice for a daily diet.

While this recipe is based on general nutrition advice and not a specific food diary, it’s designed to be a macro-friendly breakfast that still tastes like the real thing from Starbucks’ breakfast menu.

Can You Meal Prep These Sandwiches?

Yes! These Starbucks turkey bacon sandwiches are perfect for meal prep and make one of the easiest quick breakfasts for the week.

Ingredients

As I mentioned previously, it’s truly four simple ingredients that comprise this sandwich

  • Whole wheat English muffin (toasted until warm)
  • Cage-free egg whites
  • Crispy turkey bacon
  • Thin slice of Swiss cheese

For the English muffin, I prefer using Dave’s Killer Bread whole wheat English muffins for extra fiber and texture. For the turkey bacon, I typically use any uncured option, with Applegate turkey bacon being my go-to for flavor and quality. To keep this sandwich lighter while still delicious, I use a thin slice of Swiss cheese like Sargento’s, which helps control overall calories and fat.

How To Make A Starbucks Turkey Bacon Sandwich

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet or on a baking sheet until crispy.
  2. Cook egg whites in a pan or use an egg wrap mold for a round shape.
  3. Toast the English muffin in a toaster oven until warm.
  4. Assemble with egg whites, turkey bacon, and a slice of Swiss cheese.
  5. Heat for 2–3 minutes until the cheese melts.

Meal Prep & Storage

These sandwiches are perfect for meal prep and can be made ahead for the week.

Once cooled, wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap or a paper towel and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

To reheat, microwave for 1–2 minutes or warm in a toaster oven for a crispier texture.
