On a cutting board, cut the french loaf in half lengthwise down the middle. Scoop out some of the bread so that the ingredients have a place to go.

Next, spread some of the pizza sauce on the bread, sprinkle with red pepper flakes and black pepper. Add the pepperoni slices, then scoop the spinach mushroom mixture on top of the pepperoni. Top with the shredded cheese.

TIPS FOR REHEATING PIZZA
Reheating French bread pizza can be a bit tricky since you want to maintain the crispiness of the bread while ensuring the toppings are heated through. Here are some tips
- Oven Method: Preheat your oven to around 350°F. Place the French bread pizza directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Reheat for about 7-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is crisp again.
- Air Fryer/Toaster Oven: If you have an air fryer or toaster oven, this can work well too. Place the pizza directly on the rack or on a baking sheet if it’s too large. Reheat for about 5-10 minutes until you get a crispy french bread crust.
- Microwave with a Crispier Crust: Microwave pizza for about 30-45 seconds to warm up the toppings. Then transfer it to a preheated oven or toaster oven for a few minutes to crisp up the crust. This method helps prevent the bread from becoming too soggy.
- Cover with Foil: If you’re reheating in the oven, consider loosely covering the pizza with foil for the first half of the reheating process. This can help prevent the toppings from drying out while the bread crisps up.
- Use a Pizza Stone: If you have a pizza stone, preheat it in the oven and then place the French bread pizza directly on it to reheat. This can help to evenly distribute heat and crisp up the bottom of the bread.
With these tips, you should be able to enjoy this French bread pizza recipe as if it were freshly made!
