However, not everyone is a fan of wings, and some prefer to have a more manageable option. INGREDIENTS
Keeping the ingredients simple is where it’s at for this recipe. Here are the main ingredients you will need plus we will add some common spices from your spice cabinet.
- Chicken tenderloins – With tendon removed
- Panko breadcrumbs – I like panko crumbs for this recipe because it makes the tenderloins crunchier
- Buffalo sauce – pick your spice level but I chose medium sauce level
- Cheese – Cheddar Jack or Pepper Jack cheese
- Tortillas – Whole wheat
- Lettuce – Shredded iceberg or romaine
HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAPS
In a large bowl, place your chicken tenders in the bowl and season with spices including: garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Add the buffalo sauce and mix throughly to coat. Set aside
In two small bowls, set up a breading station. Add your egg and egg whites in on bowl and scramble until mixed together. To other bowl, add panko breadcrumbs and season with dried parsley.
Next take one of the buffalo chicken pieces and first dip in the egg mixture ensuring to coat on both sides. Next dip in the panko bread crumbs covering on both sides. Set the breaded tenders aside on a separate plate and repeat the process for all of the tenders.
Once you have breaded all of your tenders, place on the air fryer tray and spray with some spray Pam or extra virgin olive oil. Cook in the air fryer on 400 degrees for 12 minutes flipping halfway through the cooking process.
Remove the cooked chicken breast and allow to cool on separate tray.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAP

First lay the soft flour tortilla on a flat surface like a cutting board or plate.
On the center of each tortilla, layer the cheddar jack cheese on the bottom, add the sliced lettuce, add sliced tomatoes and place the crispy chicken tenders on top of the wrap. You can choose to top with your favorite sauce like honey mustard, ranch sauce, hot sauce or additional medium buffalo sauce.
Once you have added the extra sauce, wrap the tortilla tightly and enjoy!
