INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR AIR FRYER EGG ROLLS

For the cheeseburger filling you will need:
- Lean ground beef – I prefer to use 96/4 lean ground beef for this recipe however 93/7 works as well. If you choose a beef that has a higher fat content, like 85/15 know that the estimated calories will change based on this.
- Worcestershire sauce – Has a very complex and savory profile. A little has a ton of flavor that really compliments the ground beef in this recipe. If you don’t have worcestershire sauce, you can substitute with soy sauce and brown sugar or coconut amino liquid. If you wanted a more smoky flavor you can do half worcestershire sauce and half liquid smoke.
- Dill pickle – Dill pickles bring just the right amount of savory and sour to these easy air fryer cheeseburger egg rolls.
- Diced Onions – Onions are a staple for most burgers so I didn’t want to leave them out of this recipe. It adds a great depth of flavor as well as some added texture to this dish.
- Garlic – I used pre-minced garlic from a jar however you can use fresh garlic as well.
- Cheddar cheese – I use white cheddar cheese given that’s what I had on hand however, you can use whatever cheese you prefer. Some options are: American cheese, Swiss cheese or Colby Jack cheese.
- Spice blend – a blend of black pepper, paprika and salt rounds out the flavors of this dish.
Of course given these are cheeseburger egg rolls, you will also need egg roll wrappers.
HOW TO MAKE EGG ROLL MEAT MIXTURE
In a large non-stick skillet bring to medium-high heat and spray with a little oil.
Next add your onion and cook until it begins to soften then add the garlic. Add the ground beef to the pan and allow to sear. Once it begins to cook, cook until the meat mixture begins to brown and is no longer pink. As the meat is cooking, add the spice blend including the salt, black pepper and paprika and the worcestershire sauce.

Once the meat is completely cooked through, drain the excess fat and return the meat mixture to the pan. Next add the dill pickle and cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and fully incorporated into the mixture. Remove from heat and set aside.
ASSEMBLING THE EGG ROLLS
For this part you will need a large cutting board or flat surface and a small bowl of water.
On a large cutting board, place an egg roll wrapper. Add two heaping scoops of the ground beef mixture to the middle of the wrapper.

Fold one end over the meat mixture to make a triangle.

Fold the ends of the wrapper in towards the egg roll filling. On the bottom corner of the wrapper, place a dab of water along the edges to seal the wrapper tightly. Finish rolling the egg roll tightly.

Repeat this process for the remaining egg rolls. Will make approximately 8 egg rolls.
COOKING THE EGG ROLLS
Place the egg rolls on the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray with cooking spray so that they get golden brown during the cooking process.

Cook in the air fryer on 375 degrees f for 10-12 minutes. Flip the egg rolls halfway through the cooking process about 5-6 minutes through.
Note that the cooking times may vary based on your individual air fryer.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH CHEESEBURGER EGG ROLLS
- French Fries – to keep it on the healthier side I would serve sweet potato french fries
- Dipping sauce – a great way to serve these would be alongside your favorite dipping sauce. This special sauce I made for mini turkey sliders would be perfect.

FAQ’s
Deep frying these are an option however would take away from them being on the healthier side. If you don’t have an air fryer try baking them in the oven on 400 degrees on a wire rimmed baking tray. That way the heat will flow all around the egg wrappers making them crispy.
Allow the air fryer cheeseburger egg rolls to cool to room temperature. Place them in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
In order to keep the crunchy texture, reheat the cheeseburger egg rolls either in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes on 350 degrees or until the egg rolls are fully warmed through. Alternatively, you can reheat them in the microwave for 30-45 seconds or until fully warmed through.
