It’s natural to get bored or tired of eating the same meal the exact same way. Beating food boredom, I’m sharing my top 5 go to marinades that really work for any protein.
EVERYDAY MARINADE
Everyday marinade is perfect for when you aren’t sure what meals you have planned throughout the week. Blending perfectly together, this spice blend gives food flavor without overpowering. It can be easily incorporated into a variety of meals.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Pink Salt
- 1/4 cup Sugar Free Italian salad dressing
BBQ MARINADE
We are amping up the flavor for a traditional BBQ marinade. Adding some extra smokiness and heat, makes all of these flavors truly pop.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Pink salt
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup BBQ Sauce
TERIYAKI MARINADE
A few simple ingredients come together to make our next marinade. Teriyaki marinade is always perfect for your Asian inspired night. Likewise, you can purchase a store bought marinade, however this one is so simple that it comes together in no time.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Orange juice
- 1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tsp Crushed red pepper
- 1 tbsp Shallot
- 1 tbsp Fresh grated ginger
HONEY MUSTARD BALSAMIC
Hands down one of my favorite marinades to grill with. This honey mustard balsamic marinade has a little bit of sweet and little bit of heat making it hit your tastebuds in all the right places! Bonus, try this marinade with a good sturdy fish like salmon or trout, you will thank me!
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp Black pepper
CILANTRO LIME MARINADE
Some chopping and blending will go a long way for this next marinade. Cilantro lime is so versatile that I love using it on chicken and shrimp. Easily will become your go to marinade for Taco Tuesday or any Mexican night.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Cilantro
- 1/4 of Red Onion
- 1/2 Fresh squeezed lime (or lime juice)
- 1 tbsp Black pepper
- 1/4 – 1/3 cup Extra Virgin olive oil
