In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for meatballs and mix throughly with hands. Once combined, section and form into medium size balls (about 1.5 – 2 inches). This should make approx. 10 – 12 balls. Place on a sheetpan lined with foil and sprayed with olive oil.
Once balls are formed, spray the tops with olive oil and put in oven to bake approx. 15 – 20 mins or until the balls are cooked through.
While the meatballs are cooking, make your sauce. Bring a saucepan to medium heat and spray with olive oil. Next add onions and garlic and saute for 2 – 3 mins. Next add your crushed tomatoes and seasonings. Stir to combine and let simmer.
