This easy ground chicken burger recipe is extremely simple yet very flavorful. This juicy chicken burger is easy to put together for your next cookout or a quick midweek meal.
Preheat your outdoor grill or grill pan to 350 degrees. Spray the grill with a high heat cooking spray like avocado oil.
In a medium bowl, add the pound of ground chicken. Next add the mustard, Worcestershire sauce and spice blend. Combine chicken mixture throughly with hands ensuring not to over mix. Once done, score the patty mixture with your hand down the middle to make 4 equal patties.
Next form the burger patty with your hands and place them on the preheated grill. Cook on each side for approximately 3-5 minutes. Cook time may vary based on the thickness of your patties. Cook until the internal temperature reads 165 degrees. Remove from grill once cooked through and place a slice of cheese on top to melt.
While the burgers are cooking, you can opt to toast your burger buns on the grill or in the toaster. Once the buns are toasted remove.
Assembling Burgers
On a large cutting board, place the toasted bun down toasted side up.
Add condiments like mayo and mustard to the bun. To the bottom bun add the chicken patty, top with red onions, tomato, pickles and lettuce.
Place the top of the bun on top.
